Pick-IT uses the MAC address of the mobile devices to store the chosen resolution (like 320x240) in the file terminals.config. This file is located on the IIS-server in the Pick-IT ASP folder.
You can remove a line with a specific MAC address to force new 'recognition' of that device. When that device starts Pick-IT again, it will first see this screen:
The 'model' list is generated from a pre-defined list in the file Web.config. This file is also stored in the Pick-IT main IIS folder.You can add your own specific resolutions, or finetuning of screen heigth for example, by editing Web.config with notepad.Search for the text 'MX7' in this file, and you will find the list of 'models':
In this sample, the model 'MX8' was added as a custom model, by copying the line from the line above, and changing the values "model", "screenwidth" and "screenheight". After saving, this model will be available on the mobile devices, when the device setup screen is started again.
